Features of the New Season Battle Royale Game

In Chapter 3 of Season 1, Fortnite’s new island appears to be part of a multiverse.

The new season of the battle royale game went live at 10 a.m. EST (1500 GMT) on Sunday, December 5, featuring a slew of new goodies. A crescent moon-themed Ronin set and a loading screen depicting the Fortnite island floating in a multiverse-like bubble are included in the DLC for space aficionados.

Due to increasing server demands, players like us who purchased the season battle pass (950 V-bucks, around $7.99) struggled to connect to Fortnite in the initial hours following release. This makes it difficult to identify what the island holds when it entirely flipped over on Saturday during an alien-themed event that ended Chapter 2, Season 8. (Dec. 4).

The Foundation (Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock) and other members of the mysterious Seven made an appearance during the closing event. This group of people is attempting to save reality by stabilizing the Zero Point, which keeps the Fortnite omniverse alive.

The Zero Point’s instability has wreaked havoc on the Fortnite island in recent months. This includes transporting players back in time to the ancient era in Chapter 2 of Season 6. It also includes, in Chapter 2, Season 7, delivering a large amount of energy to the island when an alien mothership demolished a spire, momentarily sealing the singularity.

According to stories in the media, the Seven (who have been battling the Zero Point for a long time) would play a prominent role on the new island. On the space front, the new map is said to include a Seven rocket base. Fortnite maker Epic Games says the Seven hold sanctuaries all through the island but did not verify the rocket base’s existence yet.

Contents of the New Gameplay

According to Epic, new gameplay aspects for the season include weather effects like lightning and tornadoes, as well as firearms, guns, and more guns for gamers. In terms of movement, a new sliding feature allows players to fire and develop even while sliding downhill.

Fans of space will be able to see the first confirmed bit of space mythology this season, which is the coming of legendary “Star Wars” bounty hunter Boba Fett, if they can wait a few weeks. Boba Fett, who is set to arrive on the island on December 24, will promote the new franchise spinoff on Disney Plus.

Given its previous history, we anticipate more space content from Fortnite shortly. Space references and other “Star Wars” imagery are common in the game, which will include a Mandalorian-themed season in late 2020 and early 2021.
