The MGM Grand in Las Vegas will host the WWE Money in the Bank live event on July 2. In the months to come, the title picture will be drastically altered thanks to one of WWE’s most prestigious events.

At the event, Money in the Bank ladder matches will feature eight men and eight women. To win, a competitor must climb a ladder and take the Money in the Bank briefcase, which contains a contract that gives the winner an opportunity to defend their title whenever they want within the following year. Since the start of the match, this agreement has led to some memorable title victories and iconic moments.

Ronda Rousey is defending her SmackDown women’s championship against Natalya in a match between two of the best submission specialists in the women’s division at the event.

This year’s Money in the Bank event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Battles for WWE’s financial future

After defeating AJ Styles, Seth Rollins earned a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match against Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Omos, and 4 TBA. Both McIntyre and Sheamus were given spots at WrestleMania after fighting to a double disqualification. In a Raw qualifying match, Omos defeated Riddle by pinfall. The winner of the upcoming match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn will be awarded one of the four remaining spots in the tournament.

Asuka vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka vs. TBA in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match The ladder match for women is still open, just like the men’s. Asuka, Morgan, Evans and Bliss all qualified for the match by winning their respective tournaments. This contract has historically been won by females, with four out of five previous winners holding it for less than 24 hours.

Bianca Belair (c) vs. Carmella: Raw Women’s Championship Rhea Ripley was supposed to be Belair’s opponent, but Ripley was unable to compete due to medical reasons. On Raw, Carmella faced off against Bliss, Morgan, Asuka, and Lynch in a death-defying five-way match.

Rousey vs. Natalya for the SmackDown Women’s Championship: Natalya earned her shot at the title by winning a six-pack challenge. As a result, she has made a vow to become the first woman to submit Ronda Rousey. There has also been some buzz on social media about the show, with Natalya taking a shot at Rousey for her public proclamation of conspiracy theories (such as the Sandy Hook school shooting being a government cover-up).

The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits (c) for the WWE Tag Team Championships: To unify the Raw and SmackDown tag team championships, The Usos defeated RK-Bro on Monday night’s episode of WWE Raw. For the first time since The Bloodline’s reign began, the Street Profits are set to challenge for the WWE unified championship.

Champion of the United States of America — Theory (c) versus Bobby Lashley The feud between Theory and Lashley has included posedown contests on Raw. In one posedown, Theory squirted baby oil in Lashley’s eyes, prompting the next week’s attack by the latter. Theory then said Lashley would get his shot at the belt should he be able to beat three men in one night, which Lashley did, beating Chad Gable, Otis and then Theory.

Predictions for WWE Money in the Bank

Against Ezekiel, Kevin Owens is on a mission to prove that Ezekiel is in fact Elias, and he intends to succeed. Regardless of how many tricks or matches are used, this mission will not be deterred. But the program continues on, likely leading to the two meeting in something of a cool-down match on a card loaded with title contests and the two ladder matches.
