EA Play Will Feature FIFA 22 on June 23

On June 23, Xbox Game Pass will provide FIFA 22. This was confirmed by Microsoft on Tuesday.

FIFA 22 will soon be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers for free, as was first reported in April and then confirmed by Electronic Arts on June 14. This is due to FIFA 22 joining The Play List for EA Play.

For Xbox Game Pass users, this month has so far been very successful.

Many forthcoming games, like High On Life, Ark II, and Ravenlok, were announced to be coming to the service on day one during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase earlier in the month.

Now, it appears FIFA 22, the Shadowrun Trilogy, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Naraka: Bladepoint, and Far Cry 5 are swiftly joining the fray in addition to the already-announced games.

FIFA 22 will soon be available on The Play List with EA Play, according to a post on the Xbox Game Pass blog by Microsoft on June 21. This will allow PC Game Pass and Ultimate users to enjoy fundamental gameplay improvements and a fresh season of innovation in every mode. Additionally, get recurrent incentives on a weekly basis like Ultimate Team Stadium Sets, seasonal XP boosts, and more.”

To be clear, because those two services contain EA Play, only those who have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($14.99/month) or PC Game Pass ($9.99/month) will have access to FIFA 22. EA Play is not included in the Xbox Game Pass for Console ($9.99/month).

EA Play is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC (via Xbox app for Windows, EA app). Members of PC Game Pass enjoy EA Play on Windows PC (via Xbox app for Windows, EA app).
