‘Reimagine’: Jaguar Land Rover to roll out 100% clean-energy vehicles by 2039

Electric vehicles are a goal for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

By 2039, the luxury car company stated that it aims to be carbon neutral.

As of 2030, all vehicles will be powered by zero-emission engines.

JLR says it expects to have zero-emission powertrains in all of its Jaguar and Land Rover models by 2030, as part of a global race to develop clean-energy vehicles.

A pure electric architecture will be used for future Jaguars, and Land Rover will add six pure electric models in the next five years, according to JLR.

Diesel engines should be avoided at all costs…

According to the company, the first all-electric Land Rover will be unveiled in 2024 at the latest.

Reimagine — Tata’s strategy comes at a time when automobile manufacturers all over the world are moving quickly toward fleets powered by electric and other environmentally friendly technologies. Tata Motors also announced late Friday the appointment of Marc Llistosella as its new CEO.

Tata Motors’ stock price rises by 3%.

As a result of the news, Tata Motors’ stock price rose by as much as 3% to Rs 335.

Last month, General Motors Co., the largest U.S. automaker, announced that it aims to have all new cars, SUVs, and light pickup trucks emit zero tailpipe emissions by 2035.
