What are the rumor mills saying about the film?

The first look at the film came out on the 28th of October, 2019.

If you’d like to see a preview of the film, here it is.

In reality, the reboot is a studio’s attempt to resurrect a dead franchise. However, the curse will serve as the foundation for the film’s plot. The upcoming film is not necessarily a continuation or a remake of the previous Grudge films.

Nicolas Pesce, the director of The Grudge 4, says that the new film will be a “side sequel” to the 2004 film. However, it is unclear how the events depicted in the film relate to real-life events.

Here’s what we think about the trailer.

One thing is crystal clear in the trailer. In a way, Pesce is paying homage to both of the franchise’s American films in this way. There are also a large number of Japanese films, beginning with the very first. There is a strong Japanese influence in the design. The iconography, on the other hand, is heavily influenced by American folklore.

The shower scene from the first film is reprised in the sequel. The scene in John Cho’s film where he takes a shower with his hands in the water is a nod to earlier Grudge movies. There appears to be a bloodbath in the trailer, indicating that the film will have a lot more of it. In the previous Grudge films, a ghost appeared from beneath the bed.

This review will be happy if The Grudge 4 is a success. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an excellent installment in the series, so I was hesitant to keep my fingers crossed for the next one. Even though the trailer and production details have piqued my interest,

Grudge 4 will have to wait until then. Consequently, I wanted to see if the hype was justified.

Until then, we’ll have to wait!
